Wedding Date & Time:

Tuesday, January 1, 2002 1:00PM

Location of Wedding:

Little River Baptist Church, Aldie, VA (aka LRBC)

Directions to Wedding:

Driving directions to LRBC

Miscellaneous:

Dress for the wedding is semi-formal (gussy up all you want, or just dress nice!  Just no jeans, please!)

The reception will immediately follow the wedding (and wedding pictures) at the Evergreen Fire Department, 3510 James Madison Highway (Route 15) in Haymarket, VA 20169.  The reception is about 6-7 miles from the church, down Route 15.  Need Directions?

Family of the Groom:

Parents of the groom are the late Charles Bradley Orr Jr. and the late Helene Greene Orr.  Everette Orr and Frances Krell (brother and sister of the groom) are extremely happy that their brother has found true love!  We all trust that Mom and Dad will be there, smiling down on us and just tickled pink (one of the wedding colors)!

Family of the Bride:

Father of the bride, Dr.William G. Wells, Jr. will be flying in from California to FINALLY give his daughter away (since he couldn't sell her.... ;-)

Mother of the bride, Jan Wells is just glad she finally got her MRS degree (even if she can't iron a shirt)!

Stepmother of the bride, Elisabeth S. Wells is happy Roberta never settled for any of the losers she used to date!!

Gregory Patrick Wells, her son, is thrilled to have a Dad, and thinks his Mom is at last getting what she deserves (little does she know, eh?)

Maid of Honor:

Charilyn Wells Cowan, the first to be married, and the only one left single now!  (May Jim rest in peace -- he never felt much peace when he was here!  I know you're going to be smiling down on us, too, buddy!)

Best Man:

Jess Parker - can't believe Bob actually found someone who will put up with him (and offers his heartfelt condolences to the bride)

Other Members of the Wedding Party:

Bridesmaids:  Larisa Wells, the bride's younger sister (yes, she's married, just didn't change her name!), and Terry Wells, sister-in-law (our most recent Wells addition and so excited for Ro)

Groomsmen:  John Mullins Orr, nephew to the groom (very happy for Bob), and Gregory Patrick Wells, son-to-be (instant family, eh, Dad?  Can I drive the Caddy to school today, Dad?  Got twenty bucks, Dad?  Wanna play UT, Dad?)

Ring Bearer:  Zachary Krell, 7-year-old nephew of the groom (such a prince charming!)
Flower Girl:  Rachel Krell, 4-year-old niece of the groom (what a pretty, pretty princess!)

General Comments:

Okay, although this is going to be a traditional wedding, you've got to know that with these two, please come prepared to have some fun!!!  The reception will feature karaoke, among other things... (okay, that was the bride's idea!!).  Anyone have any other ideas for fun?
