Ceremony Details
Wow, can you believe it? Both of us were actually there at the church (and ready!) in time to start the ceremony at 1PM. And it came off without a hitch (except that big "hitch" that we were both ready for! ;-)!! Thanks so much to Joan Knox and Joyce Parker for all the behind-the-scenes coordination needed, and to Sam and Bob Coffman for their help with the church rearrangements.
We had a beautiful string quartet, pianist and soloists -- the members of the string quartet were Pamela Lassell, Carolyn Kessler, Anjali Lind and Deborah Brudvig. The vocals were provided by the Stevens family: Brad, Debbie and Rachel. Pianist was Gail Cope. All the music was absolutely wonderful!
The bride wore a formal pearl-encrusted ivory lace and satin gown with 8' train -- and check out the bride's special, designed for comfort, footwear (pics below). Her attendants were in purple, with the flower girl in pink and white. The gentlemen were clad in full dress in morning coats.
